Ammcor Reviews and The Benefits of Association Management

May 30, 2018 by Josh Leave a Comment

I have been renting in San Clemente here in Orange County for around 10 years now, with varying levels of success in terms of the landlords that I have had. Two years ago however, the housing company which I rent with decided that they would look to an association management company called Ammcor. Naturally once we found out this news, my neighbors and myself were worried that the quality of our administration would diminish. After checking out the Ammcor reviews however, I was quietly confident that they could bring about positive change, and that is exactly what they have done. If you are in a rental agreement, be it in Orange County or anywhere else, here are some of the benefits of using a great association management company.

Calling

The biggest things that I’ve noticed since Ammcor took over are the simple things such as calling up when there is an issue. In the past we used to have to call up and speak to an answer machine, and then wait an eternity until someone got back to us, usually by which time we’d have resolved the issue. With Ammcor however, there is a live receptionist 24 hours per day, 7 days a week who will answer calls and deal with issues in a heartbeat.

Contracts and Details

Whilst this wasn’t something that affected me personally, there were many tenants in the complex where I live who had outdated contacts, tenant agreements with misinformation and a generally disorganized paper trail which ultimately protects them. As soon as the new association management company came in, they sent an official around each flat with the intention of clearing up the administration stuff like that. This made people feel more secure and ultimately, that the person who they are renting from actually had their best interests at heart.

Fixing and Improving

In pretty much every apartment block that I have lived in there have been public spaces which needed to be improved and maintenance issues throughout the building. As soon as Ammcor came in however, they went from door to door and made a list of all of these small and large issues. Admittedly we thought that this was simply an exercise to keep the tenants happy, but soon enough we began to see lights being fixed, gardens cleaned, walls painted and more fire alarms systems around the complex.

Positive Change

The overall benefit of an association management company is that they generally bring about positive change. These guys are experts in what they do so it makes sense that you will see a very quick and incredibly positive change in terms of your landlord association. Whether this is something small which has been bothering you or something bigger, they are always on hand to fix issues, and make you feel comfortable in your own home.

Randy Benderson, Real Estate Success: How It All Started

May 30, 2018 by Josh Leave a Comment

When you begin to pore over the resume of real estate leader Randy Benderson, you may be inclined to drop your jaw. And that’s okay. But then, when you hear how his company, Benderson Development, came into being through the hands of his father, your jaw-drop may slowly turn into a smile. And that’s okay, too.

Benderson Development prides itself on developing, owning, and managing real estate covering more than 40 million square feet. These real estate holdings include more than 350 shopping centers and retail stores in 38 states, including Alaska, Florida, and states in between. They also include 40 hotels in Ontario, Canada, as well as Florida and other states under the Marriott, Holiday Inn, Hilton, Choice, and Carlson brands.

Benderson Development additionally owns more than 33 industrial and office properties in the southeastern and northeastern parts of the United States. On top of this, it owns a residential community for those ages 55 and over in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Without a doubt, the Benderson name is synonymous with real estate and financial success. But things weren’t always that way. Nathan Benderson, the father of Randy Benderson, began making business deals as a young child and eventually bought his own beverage factory, but he couldn’t keep it afloat. He then decided to buy a brewery, and that catapulted him into real estate development. However, as he dabbled in development, he ended up making some pretty sour deals. Nonetheless, he was persistent and became known for his detailed approach to deals, his many insightful questions, and his strong work ethic.

Nathan Benderson eventually made it big in the real estate world, and he no doubts passed down his character traits to his son. Real estate is clearly in Randy Benderson’s blood, and his successes will surely continue to speak for themselves in the days, months, years, and perhaps even decades that lie before us.

How To Survive Home Renovations

April 14, 2018 by Josh Leave a Comment

If you’re currently in the process of planning an upcoming home renovation project, you may be interested in discovering a few handy tips, which will help you survive your home renovation. As not only can a home renovation hurt your pocket but if you don’t plan your project carefully, you may also find yourself feeling tired and stressed out!

How to survive home renovations:

1. If possible move out of your home for the duration of your home renovation

If your home renovation involves giving your kitchen or your bathroom a makeover, it’s well worth considering temporarily moving to a hotel room or a rented apartment, so that you won’t have to work around not having a functioning bathroom or kitchen.
You may also find it more peaceful and relaxing to live in a construction-free zone, instead of attempting to go about your everyday life, whilst builders and decorators are working in your home. So if you don’t want to be woken up in the weekends by construction-related noises, it’s well worth either booking a hotel room to stay in or renting a furnished apartment.

2. If moving out of your home isn’t an option, set up a makeshift kitchen

If your budget is a little tight and you can’t justify the cost of temporarily moving out of your home for the period of your home renovation, you may want to set up a temporary kitchen. Which boasts a microwave and a jug, so that you can make simple meals, whilst your kitchen is given a stylish, modern makeover!

3. Make sure that you have extra money to spend on any unexpected costs that may arise

While you may be tempted to budget every dollar of available cash, it’s far wiser to leave a few thousand dollars to pay for any unexpected costs which may arise as a result of your renovations. As the last thing you want is for one of your builders or renovators to complete half a job, as you can’t afford to pay their entire bill. If you don’t have a few thousand dollars spare to use as a cushion for your renovation project, it’s well worth delaying your upcoming renovation project’s start date.

4. Make sure to take good care of yourself

While renovations are taking place, it’s important to take good care of yourself, so that you’ll be better equipped to handle any challenges which may arise during your renovation project. As an example, it’s a wise move to ensure that you get a minimum of 8 hours quality sleep per night and ensure to get a bit of fresh air on a daily basis. You may also find that exercising on a daily basis, will help increase your mood and will decrease your stress levels.

So if you’re determined to ensure that your home renovation is as painless a process as possible, it’s definitely worth taking note of the four handy tips listed above. Which are guaranteed to help you survive the process of renovating your home!
